Free Software: Spin Link Builder!

Recently, I noticed that when I was writing spin articles, the lion's share of my time went into editing the HTML link codes with all the spin anchors.

I wrote another nifty little program to automate this. I'm giving it away for free!

Spin Link Builder allows you to turn a URLs & Keywords list...

You can then copypaste those spin links straight out of the datagrid to insert them manually in a spin article, that you are creating in a third party text editor.

But wait, there's more!

If you want, you can designate tokens (SPINLINK_A, SPINLINK_B, SPINKLINK_C and SPINLINK_D) to the spin links.

When you write an author resource box (or any other piece of text), in which you use those tokens, like so ...

The advantages of using this software:

1. You get to maintain a separate URLs & Keywords list.
   
2. You get to maintain a separate author resource box template.
   
3. You will dramatically decrease the time spent on HTML link editing.

These two files are used as input for Spin Link Builder. You will never do difficult HTML editing in these files. They are easy to maintain, easy to delete stuff from, easy to add stuff to.

From now on, all you'll have to do is make modifications to the files, then regenerate your spin links and author resource box.

Example input is provided upon program startup. To get started, click ...

1. Build Spin Links
   
2. Replace Tokens With Spin Links

... and the way the program works will quickly become obvious to you.

Wow, I downloaded the software but speak in english man! I have no clue what that technical stuff means...so I will just try to figure it out by running the program..and if I can't figure it out...I will convince myself that I didn't need the software to begin with

Yes it will.

I now spend less than half an hour per UAW article, as opposed to more than a whole hour when doing HTML code editing manually.

You can seriously increase your productivity with this tool, provided you come up with a big list of keywords to go below your urls.

I've had an hour or so to play around with this now and the tool rocks.

It will save me hours of time over my old system of manually inserting all the html code.

I've improved my tool to also support spinning in the keywords.

Example of what will be supported once I upload the new version:

I don't do a lot of spinning personally, but I'm sure I'll find a way to get some use out of this...

I've edited my first post to provide a link to the latest version of this tool.

The previous tool didn't support special characters in the keywords. But now it does. Characters such as . , ' ? { | } are now supported. Because braces and pipe characters are allowed, you can also use spin keywords now.

There was also an issue where the user pasted a piece of text into the URLs & Keywords area, and it would all end up on one really long line.

This has been fixed.

It was caused by an incompatibility in the so called linebreak characters that were used by the URLs & Keywords text area and third party editors.

Some third party editors use the \n character for a newline, whereas the text area in my tool uses \r\n as a newline character.

When the user pastes a piece of text into the text area, the software will detect if it is using \n newlines or \r\n newlines. In case it detects \n newlines, these will automatically be turned into \r\n newlines.
