Cool I'm Giving Away My Own Article Spinning Software For Free! [UPDATE]

    Dear all,

Attached to this post you will find my self-written article spinning software (it's the file FreeTrafficSystemArticleSpinner.zip at the bottom of this post).

I coded it for myself, but I've decided to give it away for free.

It will help you spin articles for the Free Traffic System (FTS).

Having to spin your article in a notepad text file is very cumbersome. You quickly lose track when manually putting everything between [spin]spin1|spin2|spin3[/spin] tags.

With FTS, you can spin and submit articles just like you can with Unique Article Wizard and Article Marketing Automation. But FTS is for free. Becoming a paid member is optional.

The Magic Article Rewriter software that ben recommends, also spins articles for FTS. But it costs money.

Since I'm a software engineer I can write my own software tools. I've used my own article spinner to create an article for FTS and it worked great!

This software is nowhere near as sophisticated as Magic Article Rewriter, but hey... it's free!

You can use this spinner until you've made enough money that you can feel comfortable spending money on paid software.

I scanned this .exe file with AVG and it says it's clean.

I'm copypasting the usage instructions of my software below:

This tool is for spinning articles for the Free Traffic System.

You can sign up to it for free by clicking "Free Traffic System Sign Up" at the bottom right.

    ---

    Usage instructions:

    1. Write an article in this text area.

    2. Select any bit of text and press "Spin Selection" to start spinning your selection in a new window.

    3. Write a couple of alternative bits of text for your selection. Click "Spin It!" and you will see your selection is now replaced with the spins you have written. They are between the [spin] and [/spin] tags.

    4. Copy your entire article to the clipboard by clicking "Copy To Clipboard".

    5. Submit your article by clicking "Submit Article" to visit your Free Traffic System account. Paste your spun article into the designated text area.

    ---

Before using this article spinner, it is highly recommend you learn how to use the Free Traffic System by watching this video:

    http://www.freetrafficsystem.com/submit-article-video/
Since FTS expects >450 word articles, I have added an automatic wordcounter at the bottom of the application.

The text area in which you type your articles, is intentionally sized to such a size that when it is typed completely full, your article will be around 450 words.

The word counter is only useful before you do any spinning.

Make sure you understand how FTS works before you start using this tool.

You are allowed to use 2 links in your spun articles. You do this by using %LINK1% and %LINK2% in your post.

Don't spin the %LINK1% and %LINK2% macros like this:

    Code:
    [spin]Visit %LINK1%|Go to %LINK1%|Click %LINK1%[/spin].
    [spin]Visit %LINK2%|Go to %LINK2%|Click %LINK2%[/spin].
FTS will count this as 6 links already.

Instead, do spin the text around the %LINK1% and %LINK2% macros like this:

    Code:
    [spin]Visit|Go to|Click[/spin] %LINK1%.
    [spin]Visit|Go to|Click[/spin] %LINK2%.
I had to find out the hard way. It was frustrating having to go back and correct these mistakes.

I'm telling you so you won't have to make the same mistakes, allowing you to save time!

I'd love to hear your feedback. I might even take on feature requests if people like it enough!

Good luck with the tool. I hope you'll like it.

    Blackthorne

Update: The new version of my tool also allows you to generate an article from your spincode. You can use this article for personal goals.

You're a saint man! I don't spin my articles (though I may start if it becomes necessary) but the word counter is worth every penny of this software (see what I did there? lol)

    You don't spin your articles?

Where do you submit your articles then?

Let me preface this by pointing out that I'm not working on monetizing with Adsense right now, and I don't have any of my own personal web properties, unlike a lot of people here. Right now I'm bum marketing mostly.

As for which directories, basically the list from Extreme Wealth here. Also Hubpages and Squidoo. I set up a Squidoo landing page, then personally write articles on the other 20 directories in the same general niche. I don't spin with free traffic just because I find it tedious- I'd much prefer to write another article for another 30 backlinks for when the big G finally weeds out all the duplicate content and presumably discounts the backlinks from my first.

    Thanks for the list.

How's the bum marketing thingy going for you?

How long does it take before you get conversions on your landing pages?

It's too soon to tell (read, no sales yet ). So far the only thing I can judge off of is the hops, and I've gotten a total of 96 hops, and 4 order form visits. Which is right above a 4% CTR to the order form. This week I think I've figured out what works and what doesn't, and now I just need to hammer out more stuff (those 96 hops came from about 10 articles in total- of which only 3 are first page in Google).

    Sounds good.

I'm currently expanding my own websites (that have slight authority), with more posts.

    Seems to be working.

Like Court's blog post experiment? How many posts do you have done so far and across how many blogs?

Yeah I know about that experiment. I receive Court's emails. He's doing well and so am I all of a sudden.

I have a mere 3 adsense sites that have always done quite nicely from their inception.

They only had 5, 6, 7 posts to begin with and pulled in modest amounts of traffic, clicks and cash.

Now that I have expanded one of them with 10 posts and set up infobarrels and hubpages to them, I am seeing a traffic record on that site today.

I think I can lift myself up a few bucks per day with relative ease.

I'm currently doing the same with my other 2 sites.

I'm using my own software to write my posts. Because like you said, that live word counter sure rocks donkey balls!

If you are going to bum market, I suggest backing up your ezines/article directory sites with solid backlinks.

Ezines rock for link juice and traffic, but they have a tendency to place very high the first week-month, then slip down. This behavor means most people who start off get elated as they watch an initial surge of traffic and sales, then watch in horror as 85% of their ezine traffic dries up.

With a year or two, domain age might be enough to keep them stablized on the front page, but you will notice your referral traffic from ezine drop off after the first month when the fresh content bonus wears off. Sending solid backlinks to the ezine (UAW/AMA/BS are perfect for this actually) will help keep the ezines staying high in the serps.

    Ben
