Default Recommended Link Trading Service & Link Trade Checking Software?

    Dear forum people,

I'd like to know how you manage all your linktrades?

Surely you don't check all your links manually? There has to be some sort of link checker software?

And what about websites where you can do mainstream link trades?

I know of such a place in the adult biz, but I have yet to find a good one in the mainstream biz.

I've tried LavaLinx but I thought it was fairly complex. I also tried MetroLinks, but all that site has is people with linkfarm pages on sites unrelated to my niche. I respectfully decline that sort of linktrades.

I want to trade frontpage links!

    Any suggesions?

Don't use any sort of software. To be honest, I don't really have time to manage all of that, so I can see some good use for this. Conectcontent.net has a sort of link trading scheme that works well.

I'm with Ben - what value is checking links - if someone has deleted your link there's not a lot you can do about it! I keep track of links I have from networks such as AMA and BS so I can boost those sites up myself - but for blogrolls - no I don't bother

Sure you can do something about it. You can delete your link to the guy that deleted his link back to you.

Why pass your G-juice to people who won't pass any back?

Trust me, your time is so much more important than trying to manage your links like that. Spend the time doing something productive like getting more links, setting up sites, or writing content.

how can you tell if pages where your links are being put are going to be found by search engines? I got a link on a pr3 page, but it is in there deep and not sure it will be counted? Idk if im making sense here

Another question: Are links on a page where search engines Disallowed going to be found and counted?

    Anthony,

If your link is on a pr3 page, and it's do follow, it will be found.

If it is on a page that is not allowed, then don't waste your time with it.

If the page is deindexed, and no follow...really move on

There's software out there that will do it automatically for you. No worries required if it's automated.

But alright, I'll worry less about it for now.

Now if only I knew where to get decent linktrades...

If you are worried wether your backlinks will be found by the search engines - do backlinks for your backlinks. Social bookmark it, write an ezine for it. It will give more juice for the link

There is a link exchange part in this Forum. Post there and some day you will get links
