Default Any results with Directory Maximizer?

I'm looking at backlinking strategy at the moment (diversifying away from what I currently use), and was wondering if anyone has used Directory Maximizer? (http://www.directorymaximizer.com).

The pricing model is quite attractive, as you pay for each submission instead of subscribing to a service.

I haven't used Directory Maximizer so I can't speak for the results of their service, but at 14 cents per submission it's not really the best deal out there. For about the same price of submitting just one site with Directory Maximizer to their complete list of directories, you could just buy Allsubmitter and submit as many sites to as many directories as you want to your heart's content. There are much cheaper directory submission services out there as well.

And they're even nice enough to provide their full list of directories up-front - It only took me five minutes to copy them all to a text file and load them up into Allsubmitter for future use. Kind of makes their service obsolete...

    Thanks Ice Cream.

I have used some directory submitter software before, but found it pretty manual and menial; I'm getting a demo of AllSubmitter to see how that stacks up

It's been awhile since I had the free demo version of Allsubmitter, but if I remember correctly it doesn't let you use the automatic submission mode - It works as advertised though. If you buy it and don't like it, you have 30 days to get a full refund.

For whatever it's worth, I'm a huge fan of this software. The awesome thing about it is that it's fully programmable by the user to submit to just about any site you want it to (not just link directories), so you can set it up to handle most if not all of your backlinking duties for you automatically.

If Allsubmitter doesn't do it for you though, you could even just create a simple macro with iMacros in a few minutes and submit your sites that way. The success rate won't be all that great, but hey, it's free - you can't beat that.

If you want, I can upload my text file of Directory Maximizer's list of directories for you to use when I have the time...

I have managed to get some results with Directory Maximizer in the past.

I haven't spent a fortune on the service, but you get what you pay for.

Up until now, I was unaware that there were cheaper services out there.

    So thanks for that, Bunny.

Does All Submitter work even with Ezine Articles and Go Articles?
Do they have good training materials to learn how to use the software after you buy it?
    Thx!

I can't say for certain on either, but it should be able to submit to GoArticles without any problems - EzineArticles would be a bit more tricky but it can probably automatically submit to them as well.

As far as training materials, they have some videos that are good for learning the basics of the software. For the more advanced features you're going to have to scour through their help wikis, which are helpful for the most part but skim over a lot of information. They also have a support forum which is all in Russian, but you can get answers to questions from them in English through email. All in all, I'd say they offer decent enough help for learning how to use the software.

Anyway, sorry for derailing this thread, SirCaptain - I wasn't trying to turn it into an advertisement for Allsubmitter, just thought that it might work out better for you to have software to do this for you rather than paying for a submission service for every site. I'm sure that Directory Maximizer works as advertised as Blackthorne said.
