The usual advice from people like Grizz is that you shouldn't do low-value links such as AMA et al direct to your money site - instead you should use them to boost an intermediate site (blog/hub whatever) not the money site direct whether its hosted on blogspot or elsewhere

If you're going to use a blogger blog, use it with a domain name. Blogger blogs rank much better with backlinks, if you use it with a domain name (specially if it's a pre-owned domain).

There is nothing wrong with ranking a blogger blog. But don't expect a lot of instant traffic right off the bat without a serious backlink campaign.

I can tell you there is something nice about knowing you dont need to pay 7+ bucks a domain at the end of each year. I'm personally going to be stuck with a 7-10k USD domain bill in a year, so the pressure is on to make enough money to easily cover that. You don't have to worry about that with blogger blogs.

BUT, remember, with a blogger blog, you are giving up a lot of control, both in your ability to modify the layout/site and what sort of monatization you can use. Ebay has banned blogger blogs. What if amazon/CB or other affiliate services do the same? Unlikely, but this is the sort of control you give up.

Blogger blogs don't rank very well these days -- not without solid backlinks. I'm not saying they can't rank, but if you start using blogger blogs without a solid backlink campaign, kiss trickle traffic goodbye for a long time.

If you do opt for a domain name, try to get the exact keyword in there. I'll explain some reasons why in my next blog post.

If you opt ot use backlink networks, it's fine to run them on blogger blogs, but make sure you don't put adsense on that blog. I guess that means it would not be an andsense sniper. What you can do is have supporting blogger blogs or say hubpages/ezines that you can send backlinks to from AMA, etc and use those support sites to support your blogger blog.

Thanks so much , i really appreciate all your insightful information you have provided. i also wanna thank everybody out here that as helped in answering my question , i actually wanna start build several pages on hubpages but i think i need to stop after building some few ones and i noticed that its was slow in ranking meaning hubpages as lost some of the trust given to them by google. meaning if i continue with my hubpages experiment i will need to put in more time in getting more links to them that was initially required.

have gotten to a point now where i need to get more or other platform am gonna use other than hubpages. am from NIGERIA in Africa and i follow your advise with lot of commitment i think i will get to where you are in internet marketing soonest. i love what you put out here on your website. i appreciate your work ethics.
