Default New Article Directory "Article Count" Launched!

    Dear all,

I have set up my very own Article Directory, Article Count, and I would like to invite you all to register and post all the articles you like.

The domain is preowned, aged, indexed and linkbacked.

I have yet to think about what type of revenue sharing I will implement. I would've gone with Adsense (75% user, 25% admin), but it turns out there is a security risk involved with it. Users would have to input a publisher ID and an ad slot ID. Those two would both have to be correct, otherwise I would violate the Adsense ToS. The revshare plugin's manual itself recommends not to use it with Adsense.

So I might opt for Amazon revshare or something else instead, but I have no time to implement it before the weekend. I am launching my article directory right now.

Before submitting, please be sure to read the Author Agreement and the Submission Guidelines.

Nothing special, just the usual rules and guidelines.

I accept anything that reads well, including really well-spun articles. (I will remove this line from my post later on, because it's none of you-know-G's business)

My aim is to get to 100 articles before the month January is over.

Any voluntary links you want to give me to help me get started, are welcome. Ultimately, they will be to all our benefit!

if i use your site to get backlinks for my adsense sniper sites, am i going to risk the wrath of google by having supporting 2.0 properties all linked through adsense? your site, infobarrel, hubpages, squidoo all pointing to my snipers?

In the end you can choose not to use the revenue sharing if you are afraid of this. But, since G is supposedly accepting you promoting your website with article directories, there should not be a problem in my opinion.

Then the whole hide-your-network from G discussion is now over.

Hmm, and have you posted on mine? I can't remember.

As to the problem with the adsense ID, it is easy to remove if the author puts it in wrong isn't it? I haven't had any problems. I did make sure to limit the site to only 1 adsense block a post so it could never show to ads by different people at the same time.

Get submitting people (to mine not this newcomer)
All the cool kids hang at the Zen Duck, do you????

    Damn you, Dave.

We are starting to become arch enemies!

At one point, I will bump into you in real life, and I'll say something tacky like...
"Ah... so we meet again! The day is mine!"
And then we will have an insult sword fighting duel.

Nope. Link farming is another thing in itself. That means that you are building websites in the sole purpose of sending correctly anchored backlinks. If you interlink some of your own blogs then there's no problem. Heck have a look at what Griz has done with his mmo sites.

If article promoting would not be accepted then the majority of marketers would get penalized and even EZA wouldn't be accepted.

We're talking about hiding your network from G.

Sharing adsense revenue everywhere gives away your entire network to G.

If exposing your entire network to G is okay, then we've reached a final decision in this debate.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

It all depends on what you mean by your network. If your network is five legit websites with good content that all have adsense, then why would it be wrong to interlink them? Heck I have always linked hubs with my adsense, to sites with my adsense. Same thing with infobarrels.

If your network is 500 free hosted blogs with spun and BCW content, then I wouldn't want to make it clear that it's my network. I wouldn't put adsense on it either.

Griz mentions multiple times that he converts network sites to money sites frequently just because they start to perfom so well. Then he will have his adsense and the links pointing to the previous money site on that site. How can he do this? All his sites are legit and have good content on them.
