    Default ezine noob

I've been submitting articles to ezines for months but only just discovered that my intext links have the nofollow attribute. I was under the impression ezine articles didn't do that.

My resource box doesn't have the nofollow attibute at least. Is this the same for y'all?

You can probably find the answer to this in Ezines' ToS somewhere.

Actually I never found it in the TOS Blackthorne - in the end I asked on their blog and got an answer from Crhis Knight himself (the CEO) - in content links are no-folloed - links in the resource box are do-followed

You can however write the resource book as if its still part of the content - but make sure its in the resource box not the article body

Yup, I'll start making better use of my resource box now.

On a brighter note, in text links with Go Articles are do followed.

Goarticles is not as powerful though. If you write long articles, you can write the first 250 words in the article body, then put the rest in the resource box. I never actually even tried to put links in the body.

This is correct and has always been this way. EZA does no follow for in text links. The do followed links are the ones from the resource box. Save yourself the headache and avoidthe in text links. Just put them in the resource box and be done with it.

What's this fucking shit with ezinearticles disapproving of links with more than 3 anchor words as of late?

Has anybody seen this shit yet?

I wrote 35 articles, all of which had 4 and 5 word anchor articles. Now most of them are being unapproved and I have to edit them.

Seriously... what could be wrong with promoting long tail keywords?

Bunch of bitchy, whiny assholes those ezine guys are.

They give me 5 words in the resource box. I'm a Platinum member though so maybe you get more for that. Doesn't matter though, I often need more than 5 and you are right, it is really stupid and annoying.

What does it cost being platinum?

I can't believe what the fuck is happening to me right now with ezines.

Let's say my keyword is "how to cure deadly cancer".

So I write a bunch of ezine articles, all of which have 2 links in the resource box. One links is "How To Cure Deadly Cancer", the other is "How To Cure Fatal Cancer".

Five words is too much. So I edit my articles.

Now, they all have links such as "HowTo Cure Deadly Cancer" and "HowTo Cure Fatal Cancer".

One of those kind of articles is approved, the rest is all disapproved.

So now I've gone and edited them again to have "HowTo Cure DeadlyCancer" and "HowTo Cure FatalCancer".

There. Three words in the anchor. You happy now, ezine motherfuckers?

If not, I'll be a blowin' more fuses than one.

Ezines can be a bitch. They suspended my account because I submitted too many articles that were similar. Completely unique, but the content was rewritten over and over -- guess there wasn't anything new being said after the 20th article lol.

After a week they gave my account back, MINUS the platinum status, bastards.
